A: I can't register for a class I really love.

B: Is it full?

A: No, it's not. I have a hold on my record, because my library books were overdue.

B: Can't you just pay the overdue fees?

A: I can't afford it. I'm totally broke man.

B: How much do you need?

A: I need $50.

B: Wow, you must have kept those books long past the due date.

A: Yes, I know I am horrible.

B: I'll lend you the money.
